I truly know what you mean. I know I am pregnant but I have already gained as much in these 24 weeks as I have my entire other 2 pregnancies. It is killing me since before I got pregnant I had lost 30 lbs and have already gained half of it back.

OMG... I can sooo feel your pain!! The holiday goodies & snacks & this cold winter weather has done my body WRONG! I think I'm the heaviest I've ever been ~ well, besides being pregnant. It's sad and I'm totally disgusted with myself. Bill & I got the P90-X workout DVD's at Christmastime and have done it maybe a hand-full of times. Not enough! Hopefully I can get back into some kind of workout routine. I wish you lived in Cali... we could workout together. :winks:

I could totally use a workout buddy!! As I sit here freezing my buns off, I'm wishing I was in California:winks: I now have the sinus crud and that isn't helping motivate me, but I still did a workout yesterday. School was cancelled today and again yesterday. It's a little harder to do things with the kids here, but I'm hoping to get Thomas to do some of the workout with me.

i have to admit...i signed up for a race just so i would make myself run and stop making excuses. it's easier with my strength training since i am the instructor. :laugh i HAVE to be there! |

I hear you!!!! I lost a bunch of weight last spring and summer and now I've gained it all back - about 16 pounds!!! Ugh!!!

Today I deceieded to do something - instead of sitting on my tush during break at work, I went to the Admin building to walk the hallways and go up and down stairs for about 10 minutes. Would have been longer - but I started talking to someone. Not much, but I did feel better afterwards and my poor legs were burning from 3 flights of stairs! :laugh We had 18 below 0 wind chills today!!!! but maybe in a couple months I can walk around the block on breaks? A lot of people in the building do just that. |
