Dh is back in shcool at night. I'm with the kids(Dean) all day, and all night. It's a lot on me. I'm tired, and still not feeling all that well. My thyroid is fine, so we dont' know what's going on.

We had a 12k credit from amex for about 4 months. I took over the bills, and figured tony just made a huge payment. Well, we got the bill today, and they want a min. payment of 8k we don't have that kind of money. Stupid accounting. I suck at math. We are so stressed about bills, and Dh won't go find another job, because he loves the flexability of his job. He goes in at 9, then comes home at 11:45, back at 1, then he's home at 4 to get ready for school. I'm partly pissed at him for not taking the initutive to do something else. He's afraid his dad is going to cut our cell phones, gas(he pays for our gas) and our health insurance(his dad pays that too)

Dean is sick. I owe my dad's shrink 50.00 that i don't have. They want me to start therapy by myself, and i can't afford the 30.00 co pay. I might have to quit my job because i can't find anyone to watch my kids, and i can't afford to pay someone.

I've put my feelers out for taking in a kid or 2, so we'll see what happens,

I'm suposed to continue seeing a nutrionist, but i cna't afford that. I"m also going to see if i can return all the suppliments he sold me that i have no opened yet.

I'm doing all i can to keep my head above water right now. Sorry i have not been around much to reply to your posts. Life sucks right now, and i seem to ALWAY be busy with kids or housework.

This may not be something you want to hear right now, but as a financial counselor, this is what we advise our clients.

If it comes down to food, mortgage, and credit cards, ALWAYS pay your mortgage and food first, THEN worry about the credit cards. Credit Card companies have the biggest bark but the smallest bite because they have nothing over you. Credit Cards are known as unsecured debt meaning there is nothing they can take away from you. They will usually accept any amount given to them. If it is possible, you should call them and tell them what is going on. They mostly work with you. If you need ideas on what to say, give me a call. If they start hounding you at home, you can request they no longer contact you except via mail and they are required by law to abide.

Callie is right (and I would take her up on the offer and call her). I wouldn't be surprised if the way you are feeling is because of the money stress. If all you can send them is $10, then that's all you can send them. I know we all want to have sparkling credit, but if you can't pay it then you can't. Taking food out of your mouths to give money to Amex is not a smart or realistic option. you need to make peace with that and move on.
