Between working, dealing with a child who absolutely wont go to bed at night without her head up my
, and planning for having 2 stupid birthday parties im toast. I have so far bought 90% of the food, need to pickup the meat and buns on Saturday morning and pick up the fruit tonight. Tonight I also have to make her treat for DC(homemade chocolate suckers). I already completed the pinata and cupcake tower(im doing cupcakes instead of a cake this year). Tommorow I have to cut up the fruit and bake 2 dozen cupcakes, then on Friday night I have a work event after work and then we go to the Brewer game. I have to come home and decorate the cupcakes. Then Saturday AM go to pickup the balloons I ordered and pickup the meat and buns. Decorate my parents house and garage, setup all the chairs and tables and get the coolers full of ice, beer and water. YIKES! Then on the 31st we are having party number 2 with Ed's I really cant wait till August is over.![]() Man this kid really owes me, for all the crap Im doing for this Birthday. |

Because I said so, that's why!

I know the feeling. I will probably keep having the birthday party because it's the one time a year my house actually get's clean. But I still have to mow the lawn and try to tackle the weeds that completly took over my strawberry bed and are now blocking the sidewalk! Plus get the house clean and make the cupcakes for DC (optional) and the cake for the party and buy the food. Thankfully I'm doing Pot Luck - so I only have to provide hamburgers, cake and beverage. LOL I do that because I have no time to cook with the cake and cleaning. DB is being slightly more helpful than last year, we shall see how far it goes. It's hard work being unemployed afterall.

I can empathize, Lisa. DH or (AH) has done NOTHING for Noah's party this Sunday. I've purchased every gift, cleaned the house, sent the invites, have to cook and bake a cake, have to get party favors.....OMG - I am sorry to take over your vent, daahhhling!
![]() Make yourself a nice drink or 5 after the parties are done!! |

Men Just Love To Stare At My Monster Nipples!!!

I've decided next year the lil girls are getting a party at the pool. All I will have to do is provide cake, drinks, and party favors. To heck with trying to plan games when you can't control some of the brats that just do whatever they want to because their parents can't be bothered.
sorry, not trying to hijack!! |

Kids birthday parties are always exhausting!!! Maybe next year you'll consider one cake vs. thousands of cupcakes. I second Val... pour yourself a drink - A.S.A.P.!!!! Good luck with it all!! ![]() |
