Queen of the arcade... but not for long =)

I love my two year old but sometimes! so I woke up this morning and was feeding the baby in bed while Tai was watching tv in the living room. I finished feeding the baby and I came out to the living room to see Tai pulling out dvds and trying to put them in the dvd player. I was miffed but at least they were all his dvd's so if they got scratched, whatever. I go to sit next to him and fix the dvd's while talking about how they are a no no when I see the tv screen Tai found a permanent marker and colored all over my tv and got a little on our brand new computer desk
![]() I was steaming. I put Tai in his room so my temper could cool off. I think he feels bad about it. I feel bad that the markers were somehow within his reach. Luckily i was able to clean up the tv screen with rubbing alcohol but the plastic on the tv and the desk still have marker on them. I'm going to try using the magic erase marker on them but I'm all out so that will just have to wait. Ugh, two year olds sometimes! |

Because I said so, that's why!

At least the screen cleaned off. My carpet got colored on with "washable" markers when I was away because my BIL's mother came over and they let her watch the kids (my DD and BIL's son) and she gave them the markers but evidently did watch them as they - or most likely MY CHILD - colored the carpet. And "washable' doesn't mean it comes out of ones silk rug easily or at all since I still have marks on it.
One of the joys of children, redecorated walls and furniture. |

Gotta love two year olds...for this same reason the only makers in my house are the color wonders that only show up on certain paper....my scrapbook markers are locked in a cabinet in my bedroom, where i keep the door closed and have a child protective lock on so the little monster cant get in there.
Magic erasers should do the trick. ![]() |

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??

I often wonder why I thought it was a good idea to get new carpet when Thomas was born
We would be better off I had thrown a cheap rug over the concrete until they were both 20. Magic erasers are great at getting the markers off of walls and such. I hope it works on the desk and TV. ![]() |
