Future Iron Chef....

It's 11:17. I just finished!!!
I put the last citation in, completed the works cited page, saved it in two different places on my computer...and now I'm going to bed. Wow. That was the most difficult paper I've ever written. Philosophy is SO not my thing!!!! Thanks again for the help, Donna... and ladies.... I appreciate the encouragement! |

I feel great that it's done... but, I'm not so confident in the actual work.
My papers in my other classes are consistently "A" papers. This one... well... I'll be surprised (and thrilled!) if I get a "C." It's difficult to write a convincing argument when you simply don't understand anything you read. On a positive note... registration for those in specific programs opened up at 8 AM - while "normal" registration opens up on Friday. My fall schedule is already complete!!! Wooo HoooOooOo! |

I took an Ancient Philosophy Class when I was in college and I was confused with most of it. Though my Religion classes did not normally cause me this problem. |

Yea.... I had no problem with my religion class. In fact, I was the only person in the class to get an A. =)
But, religion is quite different when you start thinking about it philosophically. My paper, as obvious from my plea for help, is on religious pluralism. |

That's because you dealing with Theology over Religion. Theology can get a bit boring after awhile. Theology is more like Philosophy and Religion is more how it effects people lives (sort of). I have a minor in Religion - the classes I liked where the ones were we looked at how Religion effected peoples lives. Choices people made because of their Religious beliefs intrigues me.

It was actually a comparative religion class, so there wasn't a whole lot of theology either. It was more of an examinations of the major (and a few minor) religions around the world. I totally loved that class.
I think I'm just far too "linear" of a thinker to grasp the concepts of philosophy. I'm not sure I'd do well in a theology class, unless it was specifically oriented toward Christianity. Even then... I'm not sure. |
