Well, both Shannon and Megan are doing well. Me not so well.

Belinda will understand this one since she use to work for the company. Today will be the last time i post for a little while. Unfortunately our new company has decided that they need to make a company reduction.... Well as of 10:20am yesterday i am no longer employed. I put in ten years with the company and they walked in my office told me my job was eliminated, handed be a severance check and final pay check, told me my benefits would terminate as of midnight and said so long.

My direct boss was crying and could not speak. i realize there was nothing he could do. Myself and the 3 others who were let go all ended up at Rubys drinking for the rest of the day. I don't even drink any more.

I was given about 5 minutes to pack my office up while the HR (who was only doing her job) stood there to make sure i did not take anything or destroy anything etc...

i thought i was dying. I started there right out of high school and know no other industry. I cried all night and never went to sleep. I filed for unemployment today and had three interviews this morning... one looks promising.

My DH was able to pick up benefits immediately because it was concidered a life altering event. Thank god with all that Shannon and Megan have been through recently. I promise to post as soon as i am able to get to a computer.

Please pray for me and my family as we go through this. Reality has not completely set in but i am sure it will soon.
