DB went to go play Basketball at the YMCA today - he does several times a week if he can. And as he landed from a jump his leg POPPED. And the other guys he was playing with heard it. Then he fell to the floor screaming in pain. He ended up leaving on crutches and driving home in his manual transmission car that requires 2 legs to drive. Even though mere pressure caused excruciating pain. He thinks he blew his Aquilies Heel and/or he snapped a muscle (as in disconnected it). Now you would think that an intelligent person would at least take off of work and go to the free clinic that is open tonight. As they are only open Tuesday and Thursday evenings. A person with health insurance would have been driven to the Urgent Care if not the ER.

But not my man. Nope he calls me up at work asking for help to get dressed for work. Then he wanted me to follow him so I could bring his bag into work. A job that pretty much requires standing a lot if it's busy. And as he pulls into the parking lot he is screaming in pain as he pushes down on the clutch with his very damaged leg. And he grunts/screams in pain as he gets out of the car and pulls himself up on the borrowed crutches the YMCA found for him.

I do NOT understand this man. And then I just laugh at him because he is so pitiful. I'm so mean.
