Why is it that when we finally get some extra $$$ in the bank something stupid like my glasses breaking happens.![]() My prescription expired in Nov so now I need an eye exam and glasses....that will end up being a good $400. I was sitting at work and I reached up to adjust my glasses and the one side snapped off in my hand. Thank goodness I have a spair pair of older glasses in my car that I can use till I get to the drs office, since im blinder than a bat without em.So im off to the eye dr in a bit to go get my exam and new glasses....Ill post pics of the new me when I get the glasses. |

Lisa -
Do you have a lens crafters or Eyemasters near you? I took Joshua there for his glasses, and they came to over $400.00 in total, but they were having a big sale - and I understand that those types of places have sales OFTEN. Perhaps you could try?? Joshua's ended up costing just a hair over $200.00. |

Oh I feel your pain.
I need to go get some new glasses and my total is often around that too, as I get the thinest lens available - I don't care - to a point - how much it costs. But now maybe you will see better too. Is it possible to just fix your glasses for now? Or not worth it? I suppose you don't have the kind of prescription that they can get your glasses "in an hour" either? I know I don't. LOL |
