I don't like complaining about dh. I have a goal to do it as little as possible. I just can't hold it in any longer. DH has been sick since Sunday. He has slept EVERY day since then. He doesn't have a job but he has school and works on the house. All week he hasn't went to school or out to the house so I had to go out to the house today and make up hours while he stayed home and slept. I had to take ds with me because yesterday I worked all day while Cayten stayed home with daddy and he didn't even feed him lunch. I called DH and asked him if he could wash the crockpot for me and put the chicken in it (when I got home, it took me less than 10 min to do this), he said "I can take the chicken out of the freezer". Good job, you can open a fridge door. So I thought I would be surprised and he would have actually done it, but he didn't. When I got home I called him and asked him if he could come down and help me with ds (we live up about 3 flights of stairs), he said "why" . . . UMMM cause I need help. So he didn't come down and I carried ds up the stairs and then made a 2nd trip to get the rest of my stuff. DS didn't have his shoes on or he could have walked up himself. I can't handle this. I don't get to just disappear if I am sick. In my eyes, he isn't REALLY sick. He has a cold, cough, runny, and stuffy nose. He had a fever two days ago but other than that, he just plain has a cold. Sure wish I could sleep all day. So all of this is causing me to yell and scream and get stressed out. I have NEVER raised my voice to ds and today I yelled at him, made him cry and made me cry even harder. I can't stop crying because I am trying to help dh by taking his homework up to school, going out to the house and working, but nothing is good enough. I don't do it right and I fail at everything. I am so FRUSTRATED.
Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
I've never understood how men are such babies when they're sick. It's crazy! Sounds like the baby is gonna be here any day. A major fight with your Dh is a sign that labor is just around the corner
I would just tell him to suck it up. Your ready to pop a baby out and doing ALL the work around the 2 homes and he's complaining about a cold.
Me too, but then I am a complete bitch when it comes to Bobby "pulling his share" sick or not.... I don't get to take a break when I don't feel good so neither does he, lucky for me he learned this early on
