"Yo Mama!"

UGH . . . I could really kick my dh right now. Long story made as short as possible . . . While building our house, we have to put in 35 hours a week as a family. We can do this by babysitting and going out to the house and working. On Saturdays, our workdays are from 7AM to 3PM. Every other Saturday I babysit one of the other families kids. It hasn't been a problem until the last few weeks as my patience is wearing thin and I am a very uncomfortable/non-sleeping pregnant woman.
So, to get to the reason I could kick my dh . . . he told the family I am babysitting for that I would babysit until 5 or 6 with out even asking me. He didn't think it would be a problem because he is coming home around 4. Well, that 4:00 is when he is done working on the house and then he has to go grocery shopping so really it is me watching the kids ALL DAY. One of the children is deaf. It is very hard to communicate with him. I know some ASL but still, it is hard. He also walks around screaming AGGHHH, AGGHHH, and he doesn't know he is very loud. He is only 18 months old. Then they have a 3 1/2 year old. He is very attention demanding and wants things his way and only his way (hence he has watched about 6 videos today because I don't have the energy to deal with him). By them staying longer, we get extra hours for today which means we don't have to go out as much M-TR but I am so TIRED. When they got here this morning I wanted to tell them to find another babysitter but I didn't bc dh said he could come home early if I needed him to. I called dh and said I would be fine until 3:00 but now, here we are sitting at 3:45 and I am told I have to babysit for more. Why can't they ask the pg lady, not her husband. I love him and I am glad he thinks I am super woman (NOT) but man, I am TIRED and I don't think he understands that. MY VENT FOR THE DAY, |

Because I said so, that's why!

I hope you all survived the day. You may want to mention to your DH that you are late in the pregnancy and getting VERY uncomfortable and having difficulty sleeping, and utterly exhausted. And before he volunteers you again for ANYTHING - to please check with you first, because you can't do right now what you could 6 months ago. |

Thanks for the support. DH understands that I can't do what I use to but he thought "I will be home for most of it so it is ok". He ended up coming home earlier than I thought he would but the kids parents didn't get to our house until 6:30. I was so irritated, but I can't complain cause Cris was able to get the kids quieted down and I napped from 5:00-6:00ish. I am babysitting them again from 4-9 tonight and 4-9 tomorrow UGH! I sure can't wait to be done with this house and have my nights and Saturdays back. It has been 43 weeks since I was able to do anything I wanted on any given night/saturday! Only 4 weeks left!
