...smack your significant other upside the head because of their sheer stupidity and selfishness?
Liriel woke up this morning with crude caked around her eyes again. Most likely a sign of her pink eye returning. It's been going around and round at DC for the last 2.5 weeks. So I started her back on her antibiotic eyedrops which she despises and I asked DB what he was doing today. Knowing the last time I checked he wasn't working today. And even after I explained the problem about the pink eye returning he goes "I was going to go to the Y." Then he says "I also was going to drop off some job applications." Then when I tell him he can still watch her, he's like "Maybe if there are not any other kids at DC you can still bring her in?" (Let's just keep spreading the pink eye around now.) And of course references to him not wanting are being able to watch her and how traumatizing it is to him to have to do so.
Dude - I have to work, you don't, suck it up!
Of course Liriel was all excited about staying home with Daddy.
My uterus is screaming at me to MAKE MORE BABIES!!
My husband acts pretty put out some weeks when he has the kids FOR 2 1/2 WHOLE HOURS while I am at RCIA. He is almost loosing his mind by the tme I get home half of the weeks. One week I came home and he was holding a crying Josalyn and Loralei was cuddled on the sofa 'hiding'... he just cranked the volume on the TV up because the baby wouldn't stop crying! Uh, dude, maybe try and figure out why she's crying? Turns out it was December, the month she got 5 freaking teeth. I gave her a little infant motrin and teething tabs and she was fine.
Seriously, why do they act so put out about spending time WITH THEIR OWN KIDS!!! These little peeps get so darn excited over daddy too! Not fair!
Smacking your DB from across the miles !
Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
I know you aren't seriously asking me this question Yep DB needs to SUCK IT UP!! Dh doesn't pull that one with me anymore, BUT I would sure like to smack him over other stuff
Have you tried useing a syringe and putting some breastmilk in her eye instead of the anti? I had a girl in my LLL group who had the same probs, pink eye kept returning..she did the BM for a day or 2, and it never came back....
Yes, i would smack him, but i think they ALL do stupid stuff

I haven't done it to her yet, (Well - I did try to squirt her in the eyes, but she dodged out of the way. ) but I've put some in my eyes. I tried using her antibiotics on myself, and they did help my eyes, but after about 2 doses my eyes started itching and burning for hours afterwards. They would start to feel better and I would put another dose in and they would itch and burn again. So I'm thinking I'm allergic to that stuff and only got 2 of 5 days worth in. I should try adding the breast milk to DD's eyes too. Kind of weird though - everything is cloudy/hazy for a few minutes afterwards. Which makes sense when you think about it. I need to look and see if I have any good droppers at home and try the BM on everyone in the house. DB is very squeamish when I mentioned doing it to him.
