As I feared, we got a bill from the anesthesiologist for Dh's endoscopy procedure. $700!!! WTF?!?!? Don't know if you guys remember, but I called the week before the procedure to request a preferred provider. Well, they sent a non-preferred provider! How in the hell can they get away with this??? Dh called the insurance company and they agreed to pay the in-network allowed amount of $279, but we were responsible for the rest. Our out-of- pocket on this should be ZERO! We met the $2500 deductible and I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay this dr anything! I'm so pissed! Have any of you been through this and what was the result?

that's what I thought! I think they should be happy that they are getting anything at all and should accept what the insurance company is sending them. B-TARDS! or should I say F-TARDS I have to wait for them to come back from lunch to call and chew on some ass. Everyone else told us up front what it was going to cost. This is not right!
