I swear, if they call my baby boy fat or Gordo one more time ....

We had to leave them there tonight so we could get some stuff done...we walked in the door, and this is what we heard...

" He's really gassy...thoes bottles you use suck(Dr Browns) they don't keep him from swallowing gas. His stomach is popping" Dh said " The only time he gets a bottle is when he is here...the rest of the time she nurses him....

and then they started with "He wants to be held all the time. He dosen't want to be put down....you need to just put him down and let him cry...you can't get anything done holding a baby....it's too much, he's too needy..."

Umm..hello?!?! Too needy?? WTF??/ He's 4 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I mention I HATE them? That was what they said as soon as we walked in the door....I hate letting them sit for us, but my MIL is sick, and she couldn't do it, and it HAD to be done today....did I mention i HATE them??

Jessica - you should pick up a Dr. Sears book and "accidentally" leave it where your FLIPPIN" CLUELESS inlaws could find it... and read it. Of course, that's assuming they can READ.

Sorry, that was uncalled for... but so is 99% of the crap they say to you!

And, FWIW - Dr. Brown's were the ONLY kind of bottle Brenna could use. She was the gassiest kid ALIVE..... and they helped us TREMENDOUSLY. And, honestly... holding your baby, giving him love and affection, attending to his needs....., HOW can that be WRONG???????
