It's been sleeting all day here, and the last 2 days where wet and rainy and cold. tomorrow should be nicer, BUT its supposed to snow all weekend. Yuck!
I was going to say it is ok here but . . . I looked out the window and much to my surprise it was snowing. I had to walk back to work and about biffed it 10 times. UGH, I will be paying attention to the weather from now on!
should be very cold in Chicago in January. That is the coldest time of the year for us....below zero temps most of the time....dress very warm. It is usually way way too cold for it to snow.
Yep should be cold. But then there are those years it's in the 60's much to my shock. But it's been a really cold fall this year, so I don't expect it to be warm in Chicago in January. Dress in layers.
I bought Addie a little snowsuit for the trip to Chicago and it's so cute! I'll have to take a picture of her in it for you. I found it on eBay for only $6.99 including shippping! And it's made by Columbia!
Poor Carter has to just load up on jackets because I haven't found one at quite the same low rate!
Everytime we go to visit DH's famly, it's been in the wintertime. I love it! Though the icey roads freak me out. Maybe I should ask my doctor to up my prescription for the anxiety!

we found a really thick one at macys in daytona...it was 46.00, but it was the thickest jacket i have seen in fl, a thick sweater, a tee shirt, and jeans, all for 46.00.

Icey roads should freak out any sane person. After smashing my car at 65 mph over the Mississippi on a bridge I didn't realize was icey (it hadn't rained or snowed in days) and having almost gone off the road at 65 mph when we slowed down for someone to realize the road was covered in black ice. (My younger brother was driving my car when he lost control, I was chanting "pump the brakes" as we were doing 180 swerves on the interstate, my sister was screaming in back, and my other brother in back was telling her to calm down as as my brother tried to keep us on the road - which by some miracle he did. I lost count of the cars in the ditch that night.) I fear icey roads too.

Yeah, that sounds terrifying. I'd be freaking out!! I'm freaking out thinking about it.
