Geesh, after a record 51 day anovulatory cycle, DTD Friday and last night, I was shocked this morning on CD 10 to get -

Assuming my body doesn't back off, looks like I'm soon to be in a surprise 2ww - this is exactly how Dawson happened

Might as well DTD tonight too, eh?

I promised I'd fill you in on any 2ww obsessings, so I'll let you know if I really O and obsess from there

FF Chart

1 DPO (hopefully!) 4/15: my temp did shoot up this morning to 97.2 (I took it four times to be sure

) so it does seem I did O yesterday at only CD 10

Last night my cervix went very high, soft, open again and I had the most watery EWCM I've ever had - it was like an AF of EWCM (eww! I say that with every pregnancy, don't I?

) and this morning my cervix is definitely dropped, closed up and firmer so things do seem to fit... hopefully my temp the next couple days stays up and confirms O. I did convince DH to BD last night (it wasn't that hard

) so we have 3 times in the window, assuming I really did O yesterday!
Some throbbing in right ovary starting at 10am, cervix dropped very low and completely closed by afternoon and bbs have that full, "itchy" feeling when pumping that they usually get after O. A few minutes of stinging near right ovary area in the afternoon.

2 DPO: temp up .2 degrees and woke up very groggy and needing more sleep. My nighttime temp last night (usually pretty accurate for me) was rather low so I'm wondering if I even O'd or if my body backed off and I'm headed for another anovulatory cycle

I had weird vivid dreams last night that I fully remember, which usually only happens after O, so hoping I really did! Very bloated, irritable, grumpy, very PMS feeling. Lots of bloating and a crampy full feeling in there and some cramping in right ovary. Daytime temp reasonably high for me (97.9) but I'm absolutely freezing - hands are like ice. Lots of pinching and throbbing in both ovaries, really intense pain in left one at night lasting about 20 minutes. Some cramping and lower backache earlier and (weird) pain in my left hip a la third trimester lol. Before bed, a few minutes of weird, sharp pains in middle-right area of uterus, nowhere near the ovary - not a pain I've ever felt before, very weird! Tons of creamy CM at night.
Took a CBEFM stick earlier (and will do every couple days to see what happens!), looks pretty post-Oish! ...... Left line = Estrogen (the lighter it is, the higher your estrogen) :: Right line = LH (the darker it is, the higher your LH)

3 DPO: temp up .4

Pretty convinced that I O'd! In fact my chart is looking a lot like Macy's and Dawson's

I've only ever had *one* temp climbing chart like this where I wasn't preggo and the pattern fell apart at 5 DPO so can't wait to see what my temp's doing in 2 days. Again woke up very groggy and heavy-feeling and just wanting more sleep. Pinching in left ovary in the morning. Wicked lower left backache in the morning, throbbing, icy-hot feeling while sitting and sharp pain when bending over. Some throbs on and off in both ovaries, especially right, throughout the day and on and off lower left backache. At night more pinching in right ovary and I can sorta "feel" it there when walking around or twisting my torso - like it's swollen. Weird gunky greenish sticky CM in the afternoon. Can't seem to empty my bladder completely on first attempt *LOL* and tons of watery CM at night.
CBEFM stick getting higher... hmm, wondering if I'm not preggo if I'm already headed for the secondary estrogen surge and a very short LP.

4 DPO: temp the same as yesterday. Not much going on this morning; not really feeling preggo at all (at least for the moment lol!) Some mild throbs in right ovary and the hint of crampiness. Cervix is very weird - extremely low, soft, flat and facing outward and tightly closed. Very emotional and irritable - actually feeling pretty pre-AFish already, wondering if this LP is going to be really short. Still irritable and weepy all day, tears are very salty and stinging (i.e. high estrogen), some sharp twinges in uterus followed by a little AFish cramping. Very fatigued. Daytime temp is post-O but not spectacularly high (97.9) ... will AF show soon?
CBEFM stick very Low:

5 DPO: temp up .1 degrees. Starting to wonder if my thermometer is broken

CBEFM stick looks the same as yesterday's. Cervix still low, soft, closed and CM still creamy but a bit more scant. Some cramping and bloating in the morning and bbs getting more tender throughout the day - not really sore to the touch, but like a deep achiness and some shooting pains in left bb. Tons of creamy, slightly stretchy CM. Really fatigued and easily nauseated in the afternoon (got horribly carsick!) Around 3pm, had a few minutes of strong throbbing in lower right uterus, not quite as to the right as the ovary. Breathing or talking made the throbbing stronger. Followed by a little mild crampiness. (Okay, that's a little weird... I just reread my 5 DPO note from Macy's chart

: Some light cramps around 3pm. Had some brief stinging pains in middle/right uterus followed by a little cramping. Felt like what implantation would feel like if you could feel it..) SO tired today, if I didn't have to stay up and pump again I would've gone to bed at 7 lol! Very warm and groggy feeling and bbs are getting really sore. Nighttime temp finally up quite a bit (98.4) so really wondering what tomorrow morning's temp will bring! ;)

6 DPO: temp went up .1 degrees again!

I can't believe how slow and steady of a climb I'm having, if this thermometer wasn't brand new I'd think the batteries were low or something. Took a vaginal temp for the heck of it since I did that one cycle (the 1/4/06 cycle) when we were TTC #3... it was 98.7

That is definitely a post-O temp, a very high one at that, as with my one vaginal temp cycle the highest temp I had after O was 98.2! Ugh, what a boring chart! CBEFM stick was even lower than it has been - estrogen line is very dark (meaning it's very low), nothing like it was with Dawson at 6 DPO, and my milk supply is abundant so I'd be shocked if I were really pregnant - I'm wondering if I'm anovulatory after all, which would explain the very stable temps. Either way, I really don't think I'm preggo.

So, just in case AF is around the corner, I figured I should blow a pregnancy test for kicks... 1 down, 80-something to go

Nice, thick something-or-other lol! Either that or I'm preggo with triplets

7 DPO: temp dove .8 degrees to 97.3 - yikes! No signs of AF yet so guess we have to wait and see if it goes back up tomorrow... not much happening all day but I've been very PMSy and emotional all day. In the evening, had a headache and felt very dizzy and out of it, head feels fuzzy like your foot does when it falls asleep lol. Uh-oh. Went to the bathroom at 4:30 and checked my cervix and there was a decent amount of slightly stretchy CM with thin strands of red. Maybe AF will be here tomorrow... still, I suppose there's the possibility that this just might be a textbook pregnancy chart, complete with 7 DPO implantation dip and spotting, so I will be holding off on that bottle of wine I've been dying for

CBEFM stick is very slightly Higher than it has been, but that estrogen line is still REALLY dark to be preggo.

8 DPO/CD 1: temp dropped further, AF arrived in the morning. Still shooting for TTC in the summer, if my monsters (er... I mean precious little ones) don't change my mind before that!

So for those of use not knowledgeable about such things, what is the picture of? I assume a OPT - but what does the number mean exactly? Again - I assume it means you just ovulated or are about to.

Sorry lol! It's a pic of the CBE Fertility Monitor - the 10 is for CD 10 and the 3 bars with the little eggie means it's a Peak reading (which means I should O today or tomorrow) I did an OPK too and got this

Of course - in THEORY - there is only a 20-25% chance even if all the planets are aligned right. At least for normally fertile couples. But being it's you, might as well look for a good deal on some cheap HPTs.
