No she didn't have 5 at once. She ended up having one every year. I can't even imagine have 17kids. I tell people i have 6 kids and they go how can you handle that. It isn't really that bad except when they are fighting. My mom came from a family of 14 kids and she was the oldest. She had to quit school in the 8th grade to help take care of her siblings while my grandma worked. But that was the way it was back then. I never saw myself having 7 kids but its just the way things worked out and i wouldn't change anything.
Ohhh! I was thinking that was the family that had the Quints a few years back. I just went to their website... you are right, that's not them. However, they DO have 2 sets of twins!!
Not sure...but, it's a real family that lives out mid-west. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. I think I've seen the show on TLC? Apparently, she has had a few c-sections too (if I'm not mistaken).
DH and I would love to have a large family. But that is all relative. We plan on having 4. Our parents find that a very large family, but we really think it isn't that large at all.
