I am just curious do you think I possible dropped 2 eggs?? My family has a ton of twins, including my cousin on my mom's side with ferternal twins. I am just wondering if our desire for just one more is going to end up giving us twins.

I have never had just a high spike same drop and then it repeats itself. I am thinking 2 eggs

It is possible. Obviously you have to have 2 eggs for fraternal twins. I read a study a couple years back that indicated it was possible. Plain logic says it's possible too. But I think part of the theory is that 2 eggs are released from 1 overy at the same time. But I seriously question that being always the case.

That was actually one of my hopes and fears when I was TTC - Twins - they run in my family as well.

Very possible. I did this with Ethan. One of my problems with TTC is that I will give off an egg from each side. SO, most of the time the eggs aren't quite mature or of good quality. They think this is the reasoning behind many of our early m/c's. That is also the reason they would put me on Clomid to help get a good mature egg instead of 2 or 3 (yes they have counted 3 before) ones that aren't the best quality. With Ethan my OB wasn't surprised at all after looking at my chart when there was two sacs at my first u/s. One one was alwas a little bit behind until I got to 9 weeks and the hb stopped. It wasn't a huge shocker b/c it was behind in growth and the h/b never got up past 102. Pretty low....
