What do you guys think about getting the flu shot while TTC? I thought I might just pass on it but every year that I did not get one I was in the hospital-except the year I was pregnant with Jake. I read somewhere it can be dangerous and cause m/c. what do you think?

I have heard it is okay to get the flu shot in the first 6 months.

I don't see why it would be harmful even to the end. Wouldn't it be like getting the flu?

When I was trying to conceive the fall of 2005 (found out pregnant with Hayden in December) I asked my OB the same question. She said it was no problem at all to get the shot while trying to conceive.

I get one every year as the years I don't I get VERY sick from the flu. They offer shots at work for free so I always get one.

I've always gotten one too, as I work directly with patients

We will be getting one as soon as our GP has them in, we actually had an appt to get them next week, but when I was there yesterday for my PPD, they said they still hadn't heard anything about them.
