Discipline HELP!!
My sweet 3 year old is just rotten to the core. I'm feeling like nothing works to keep her behaior in check. I'm honestly very afraid of what the future holds if we can't make a change in her now. With Thomas the behavior chart works like a charm. With Lauryn we've tried the behavior chart, time out, taking things away, a swat on the rear end, and the latest is the bead jar with only positive reinforcement. NOTHING is working. She has tantrums, throws things, hits her brother or us, scratches, bites and will not do as she's told. She will give you a coy smile and refuse to do whatever she is told to do.
She's refusing to eat again and the pedi told me to try feeding her the same meal for breakfast if she won't eat her dinner. BTDT and it doesn't work. She will not cave. She is actually more stubborn than me! She went to bed with no dessert the last 2 nights. I sent her to her room for the night on Sunday at 7pm. I threatened her with it again last night and she nods yes, do it. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
I could write your post word for word, Kate is the exact same way. What a horrible brat most days. No amt of threatening works, no amt of time outs or swats on the butt work either. She is so naughty that she will go all day at DC with no accidents and walk in the house and pee her pants on purpose to tick me off.

The only thing that works for Ty is taking away his favorite cars or DH will hold him for a few mins tightly if he does something like hitting or biting.
On a side note, Chloe is the same way as your girls.. NOTHING AT ALL works.Nothing ever did either.. I can make her room bare and she still just shrugs and walks off... It must be a girl thing?

Must be...little monsters...Kate tells me she wants to be a baby and have a diaper on at home, hence the peeing herself, she thinks I will then put a diaper on her, but at DC she wants to be a big girl. Im thinking it is just some of the seperation anxiety working itself out a different way.

Yep, she is the same way with the pee thing, most times she wants to go in the bathroom and shut the door, but then I know she will unravel the entire thing of TP and throw it in the toilet...
