Yes... I'm an arcade addict!!

Yeah it's normal. Every chance Carter gets he's playing with his penis. He gets totally naked and plays with it. We are constantly having to tell him to put his pants back on after he uses the potty in the morning.

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
|
Yep, normal. When Thomas started threatening Lauryn with it, they stopped bathing together. I am matter of fact with him and tell him to put his pants on. He listens but then wants to know why. I've told him it's because we don't want to see his peepee. Maybe I'm scarring him for life He still plays with it when he's in the tub. I try and distract him by telling him to wash himself or by giving him toys to play with. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. I'm afraid it's a never ending battle Oh and Lauryn is always touching herself like she needs to pee and always says she doesn't need to. I have no idea what that's all about, but it can get embarrassing when everyone around is thinking "poor kid needs to pee and mom is clueless" |

I thought Rachel was bad.. She used to touch all the time and I am sure she still does. I just never imagined it being any worse but it is with Ty. I am guilty of telling him that hes going to end up like his sisters if he doesnt leave his peepee alone.
thank you ladies. |

Because I said so, that's why!

I've "read" that you should tell them that is some thing you do in private, and not around other people.
On the one hand you don't want to emotionally scar them and make them sexually repressed (like my ex-DH was). But on the other hand you don't want them playing with themselves in public - or in some cases chasing their sisters around with it. |

Working Hard Keeping the Hussy's In Line

Yup, totally normal. I can't remember what we told Zachery other than that it was his private area and that it's for going potty and is inappropriate to 'play' with it.
Rather difficult way to approach that and have them understand without it 'emotionally scaring them'....KWIM? How else can you express to a 3 yo that playing with their 'wee-wee' or chasing their sisters with it is a no-no???? ![]() |
