well if you want to get technical I know Darren has a nephew that wet the bed until he was 12. And both girls had accidents in the first grade.I blame that on the raggie teacher that wouldn't let them go potty thought..I have an aunt that breast fed her 2 kids up until they were 4 or 5. |

Equal Opportunity Offender Hussy!
|
Noah typically sleeps through the night. He always sleeps in his room, and we have never invited him to sleep in our bed, as my mom said that would be a fatal mistake. In fact, he refuses to even take a nap in our bed if beckoned to do so.
He has been weaned from the paci since about 6 months. He's been weaned from bottles since around 1 year and only uses a sippy. Much to my chagrin, my DH still gives him sippies, even though daycare strictly prohibits them. This vexes me to no end. He does take a sippy to bed each night, and typically gets in around 8-12 hours of sleep depending upon his activity level from the day before. He usually just crashes after he eats dinner....the norm for us. I only really see him on Saturdays and for a few hours on Sunday. During the week, I see him on alternating days depending on who is covering trips to daycare, etc. It sucks, but my sanity is (somewhat) intact... ![]() |

My uterus is screaming at me to MAKE MORE BABIES!!
|
I can say that happily Loralei slept all night in her own bed after being at Cedar Point (amusement park) all day yesterday. Josi must have got up at some point because when I woke up for real (
) she was in our bed. I got her at some point I guess. Loralei usually STTN now, but Josi rarely does. I almost never do, even if both kids do, I still get up. I have rarely STTN in my life, I really feel for my parents !I had Josi night weaned, and then I got all screwed up with my sleep and I guess I just get her and bring her in bed and nurse her. I am a very non mainstream parent. I feel that so much of the mainstream advice is contrary to what a child needs. Oh, and Loralei stays up late some nights like she did when I was working, but it's to see Joe. She tries to squeeze in all sorts of daddy time, and is so clingy and emotional... and we all know just how much guys love clingy and emotional women ! He can't believe how excited she gets and just how long she'll try to stay up. |

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
|
Thomas still sucks 2 fingers and we start Kindergartin in 6 weeks.
The only difference is that it's behind and beside the toilet and on the waste bin next to the toilet. Dh is nice enough to point it out, but not nice enough to wipe it up How do you train a boy to aim when his mind is on everything EXCEPT on what he is doing currently??? Sorry, a little OT. |
