I've never really mentioned this to you guys... it's kind of embarrassing. Brenna is 4.5 and still not potty trained. In fact, she's flat out refused to use a potty. She's totally content to pee in her pants.

Well, today...for the first time EVER - she peed on the potty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I screamed with excitment...I ran and got her "supply" of incentive stickers and her incentive chart, and posted them prominently in the bathroom.

She's SO proud of herself....and I'm SO hoping that it's FINALLY starting to sink in.... and maybe, jsut maybe, I'll be able to stop spending so much money on pull ups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I'm getting SO excited over this.... but, I'm down here in the office, and I hear Brenna yelling through the baby monitor.... "Mommy, I leaked!!"

I ran upstairs and she was in the bathroom sitting on her potty chair, and it was full of peepee. She was clapping for herself, and asked for another sticker.

Could this REALLY be it??? She's understanding!!! She did have an accident earlier today, but this is the first time in her LIFE that she's ever been willing to even THINK about sitting on a toilet/potty chair or anything else. And, she's peed twice, once WITH prompting....once without!!!!! =) =) =)
