I wish I had an answer for you. But I am not sure. i know Gage used to say "Me want ....." For the longest time and just recently started to use "I". Bailey already uses his pronouns properly about 90% of the time.

What I would be more worried about or NOT worried about is he is speaking if 4-5 word sentences. Not that everything is accurate. Gage didn't do 4-5 word sentences until 3 years and a couple of months. VERY VERY DELAYED!!!

I think it's normal. They are learning the language and there are a LOT of rules to it. Just make sure you are modeling proper speech and he will pick it up.

Jessica, we fill out a questionaire before the 2 year visit, 3 year visit etc. and it covers fine motor, gross motor, and speech. It looks like the site is having issues at the moment (maybe it's Lauryn helping me), but here is the link and it also shows you how to grade it.

What do you mean, you don't have yearly checkups??? That's crazy! Even adults are supposed to go for annual physicals, why would they not want to monitor a growing child???

That being said, all 3 of my kids go for annual physicals. If Brenna hadn't gone thisyear, we would have missed something HUGE!!!

We go in every year to go over the questionaire, ask any questions, get routine bloodwork done, UA and growth check, and immunizations. I thought everyone did that
