Still the best Christmas present EVER!
|
After about 2 weeks of absolute . Bailey is finally going down easier and he is still sleeping this morning. .Last week it was about 2 hours each night to get him to go to bed. And forget naps Wasn't happening. By the time be was about to fall asleep it was 2:30-3:00 and getting way to late. So far this week he has taken 2 naps back to back and putting him to bed only takes about 20 mins vs 2 hours. PLUS he is finally still asleep past 5:30 .I am so glad I just stuck to my guns and it is working. ![]() |

It wasn't so bad really. I think the worst part was the first 5 days. Then after that I knew that if I just PUT him in his bed EVERY time he got up, he eventually just realized that he needed to go to sleep.
SHEWW!!! Now if he would stop crawling in bed with us. I much as I love snuggling with him, I CAN"T sleep. The belly is just in the way. |

Sounds so familiar
When we switched DD to a "big girl bed" she slept great for the first 3 naps and nights. Then she started getting up constantly (buit once she was asleep, she was asleep for the night, thank goodness). Yeah - it was taking about 2 hours to get her to bed at night -- uuugh! Then, we went away for Thanksgiving and since we've been back, bedtime has been ok but she hasn't napped twice this week - uuugh! Plus, she has a cold so she could really use the sleep. Glad to hear things are going better!!!! |
