or sheets or covers?
We moved DD into a "big girl bed" 3 or 4 weeks ago. She will say, "Don't cover me" or "no covers". I'm wondering if I should just take them off the bed since I've been folding them down towards the bottom of the bed, anyway, since she doesn't want to use them. I've just been making sure to dress her warmly recently....but there have been times that I've looked in on her and she's curled up like a ball, probably b/c she's cold (I then put a blanket on her). I do tell her that the blankets and covers are there for her to use if she gets cold and she still says "no covers". |

Because I said so, that's why!

Well my DD still co-sleeps most of the time, so she is under covers. Though recently she has been in warm fleece foot PJs - so I put her on top of the blankets I normally sleep under, and if I'm still cold, I put another blanket over both of us.
When she is in her own bed, she is unconscious - so I put a blanket on her depending on how warmly she is dressed and how cool the room is. I've noticed if she gets too warm, she doesn't sleep well. Which means I don't sleep well either. |

I just got her a few extra pairs of fleece slippers. Her feet are growing fast and some of the one piece blanket sleepers aren't big enough in the feet, so I figured she can wear slippers to bed

Welcome home baby Lily!!!

Hayden will let me cover him up with a lightweight yellow blanket that I've used since he was a baby but nothing else. After he falls asleep I will cover him up more but he rolls all over so the covers never stay on all night.
I dress him in those little Carters pajamas and he wears socks to bed. We've had a few cold nights and I've put a t-shirt on under the pajamas too. He could care less about a blanket really...all he wants to make sure he has at night is his bunny, elmo and cookie monster small stuffed animals. It's cute as it's three of them and he tucks one under each arm to fall asleep. One always gets left out and watching him trying to make a decision each night is so funny. ![]() |

If Ty says it's big, then trust him - it's BIG!

Tyler co-sleeps. He will kick the covers off us and then snuggle up close since he will only sleep in his diaper.Maybe you could keep the blankets there so if she does get cold all she will have to do is reach and pull them up once she realizes they will keep her warm.

Kate has to be covered up at all times, she has a flatsheet, thin fleece blanket and her blankie(one of the high pile character blankets) that she mostly covers up her head with...plus lately she has been pulling her comforter up on herself too. She is usally in a blanket sleeper with the feet or a long sleeve carters pj set with socks. She loves to burrow in and cover everything up but her eyes and nose, and most of the time she is even covering those lately. She doesnt like her nose to get cold at night. Im making her one of those no sew fleece throws for christmas to match her new bedding and that is quite a bit warmer than her other fleece blanket so i will take that off and let her use this one.
