We didn't use blankets when we first went into the big boy bed, but now he gets under them. He does kick them off in the middle of the night, so i just make sure he's dressed warmly. His room is the coldest in the house....

Sleepy Kitty

So....the slippers completely didn't work out. I put them on her before she went to bed. I went to change them to another pair (b/c I thought another color would go better with what she was wearing ) and her feet were bright red, hot and sweaty! (they're the Old Navy bootie-style slippers in fleece).

I think I might try using the blankets I had for the crib and the comforter that came with the crib set (which so far has mostly been used as decoration on the back of the rockingchair - LOL). It's hard to make the bed, anyway, with the bedrails, so I've had to kind of fold the bedding at the sides. Maybe the smaller comforter and blanket will be easier for her to use.
