Some women bake buns......
|
Every day I am amazed with the new things these kids come up with, not to mention the good laugh I get out of most of it, so I just thought I'd share some of the most recent funnies...
A few mornings ago we were in the van and Rylie says to me "*sigh* mom we forgot to give JJ his prevacid this morning" (R & P take turns every morning handing it to him and it was P's turn). She didn't say prevacid very clearly so I looked at Bobby and asked if thats what she said. He didn't believe it (he thought medicine) so we asked her again what Jaydens medicine was called and she said *sigh* prevacid don't ya know! All three of them are so into playing house these days. They all take turns being the mom, dad and baby. They run around yelling mom! mom! and I can't help but say what, only to get yelled at that they are playing pretend mom. I have to laugh every time Peyton is mom and tends to his "kids"! Or every time they climb on the chest (which is the car) and drive to Walmart or Home Depot (which is the new favorite these days). Rylie's new thing is best friends. If she doesn't like your reply or you don't answer her she threatens that you are no longer her best friend. She is the queen of best friend ultimatums! We took them out for a drive last night to see the x-mas house lights. Unfortunately there were very very few up so Rylie wanted to go to Home Depot so we could buy everyone a x-mas tree and lights for their houses so she could be happy to see them. Then she demanded that Bobby would bring over his ladder and hang them up for everyone too! And my favorite one... Whenever Brooklyn cries Rylie believes she is hungry so it doesn't matter where we are as soon as she makes a sound Rylie will yell to me that her baby sister is hungry and we need to go home so I can feed her my boobies. We spent most of the weekend shopping and I can't tell you how many stares and laughs we got over that one ![]() |

Because I said so, that's why!

![]() And here I got this weekend when I asked my darling where her toothbrush was "Where's my D**N Toothbrush!?" I had to ask her to repeat what she said to make sure I heard it correctly. They do come up with some zingers at this age. Mine keeps telling me I'm her best friend. |

Bottoms Up!
|
These kids of our really do say the funniest things.
Carson's tells me all the time "Mom guess what?" and I'll say "what" and he'll say "I love you Mom". Another one he says is "Mom, you're the best!" and I'll tell him "Thank you sweetie, but I think you're the best" and he will go back & forth with that until I leave it at "Thank you". ![]() |
