I thought I would balance out the fattening recipes with this
![]() Ingredients: 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, 4 thighs 2 medium tomatoes (chopped) 1 medium onion (chopped) 1 medium bell pepper (chopped) 1/2 cup canned chicken broth 3 medium garlic cloves, chopped 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp ground turmeric 1/3 cup frozen green peas 2 cup cooked white rice Instructions 1. place chicken, tomatoes, onion, pepper, broth, garlic, oregano, turmeric in a 4 qt or larger slow cooker. cover and cook on low for 5 hours. 2. Add peas and rice, cook uncovered until peas are tender. about 15 minutes. 4 servings 6 points |
