If Ty says it's big, then trust him - it's BIG!

I dont have spell check at my work computer so forgive me if I misspelled cynic..lol
Chloe is so negitave. She doesnt see the positive in anything. Every meal I cook she has someTHING bad to say about it. No matter what anyone does she has a snotty bad attitude.. I can handle this if she is just going through a "teen" phase but if not I dont want her to grow up being so negitave. Or is that just some peoples attitude? I know my mom is like that but I always just assumed it was because she hates life.. I hate telling her that she's being a brat and stuff but its not fair to Rachel and Tyler to have to listen to her being so hateful. I have been trying to praise the positive. Is there anything else I can do?? |

Men Just Love To Stare At My Monster Nipples!!!

I have been there!! I could have written your post not that long ago.Let me say this first, it will get better! For the longest time Jessie was like that. Everything ALWAYS had something wrong with it. She was never happy with anything. She had a horrible attitude about every freaking thing and it drove me crazy. I was told by someone who has girls older then Jessie that it would get better after she turned 14. I'd be lying if I said I believed him. I do have to say that he was right. She has been better, not 100%, but a huge improvement! She is sweeter to her lil sisters, she is saying positive things, and overall just easier to be around. So don't ship her off to some sunshine camp or give up on her. It's hard to deal with, I know! It will get better, I promise. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Because I said so, that's why!

I can't remember what I did when I was that age, but I know I drove my mother batty.
![]() You could try telling her that "if she can't say anything nice, to not say anything at all". Or ask her to help make supper - then she can complain about her own cooking - but at least she will hopefully gain an appreciation of how much work it is. Not that this will solve your problem, but it might help or it might not. I know strangling her won't help. |

Working Hard Keeping the Hussy's In Line
|
Katelynn is 12 and I swear I'm going through that right now too. I just want to SHAKE her!
![]() She makes me want to rip my hair out. Let's ship them off until their 14th birthday! You up for it? ![]() Ahhhh! It's good to know that improvement is only TWO YEARS away. But, at least it's not permanent. We try to focus on positive disciplining in our house. It's helped. I've tried to be more flexible where I can and when she shows more responsibility. But, it's hard when they constantly are defying you and disrespecting you. I KNOW what you're having to endure! Stick with your guns, that way she knows you mean business and can't walk all over you. Oh, and with Katelynn, it seems everything has to revolve around her, be about her, or focus on her, or everything is horrible and terrible. Do you have the same problem? Example: She invited 3 of HER friends to Zachery's bday party this past weekend. I could've KILLED her. What part of it's ZACHERY's Bday party is confusing???? Seriously!? She's going through a MAJOR selfish phase right now. Are you dealing with that too???? |

I boycott poopy diapers!

I totally know what you're going through, but it's only because I was that way as a teenager. I look back at how negative I was and how awful I treated everyone around me and for me it was because I was extreemly uncomfortable in my own body. It started around puberty and ended sometime around high school. Hopefully it's soon for you guys.
![]() Our problem with our teenager, Cody - he is the world's biggest story-teller and liar. It's extreemly frusterating becaues I don't trust a word that comes out of that boys mouth. |
