Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
I found them on-line at Joann's for a couple dollars and they're supposed to be at Target too. I'll check into it this weekend while I'm at work. I'll also get clarification on which ones they are talking about ahen I go to the Kindergarten parent/teacher meeting on May 13.
yep im talking about the kids scissors...I just bought my niece a pair for $6.00 with a cpn.
In July/Aug I've seen them for a couple dollars. I bought some for Liriel. I'm pretty sure they were Fisker - because they are better scissors.
Just like I wouldn't recommend buying folder right now. Could pay 50 cents to $2 per folder now. But not in July/Aug school sales.
So maybe she'll have to pay $15 instead of $10. But still way cheaper. Unless that one item on her list I'm unfamiliar with is super expensive or some thing.

Now, now ladies I found the pointed-tip and blunt tip scissors at both Joann's and Target for a few dollars. There seem to be a few different types though. I'll get clarification before shelling out any $$. I'm gonna keep my eyes open for any sales between now and when school starts. You know me, I have no intention of paying full price for anything
INow I'm at home and in tears. Why is this so hard? Will I ever get used to the idea of sending my baby to school??!?!?!?! I'm absolutely dreading the first day.
I've now sent 2 of my 3 off to school, and while there's no denying that it's difficult, you'll get used to it! =)
Both Jay and Bean LOVE school.
As far as Fiskars, you can get "kiddy fiskars" (yes, the pointy ones) at walmart for like $4.00, here.
We had to buy Brenna special lefty scissors, because ambidextrous scissors don't work for her. Even her specialty scissors were only $8.00.
Last year I got both kids ALL their supplies for less than what the PTA was charging for one set. Walmart has CRAZY deals right at "Back to school" time.

Maybe they don't like Milwaukee and charge all the stores there more for their product?
