I've told you guys that my Josh-man has been participating in the "Mathletics" competitions at his school, right?

Well, the "regionals" begin today.... and Joshua was chosen to represent the 4th grade from his school. There are 3 kids from each grade chosen to represent their school. He's SO proud and so excited!!

Two weeks ago he represented his class at the school spelling bee. He did very well, but he was beaten out by a 6th grader. He was so bummed.

So, I'll be sitting in a gym full of "math nerds" all afternoon. Maybe some of their collective smarts will sink in to my 'math retarded' brain!!!!

Alex is doing something similar this weekend..it is a program called Math Counts and he tried out and made his schools team. He worked hard and was very proud. If his team does well they go to state competition.
