Lex hurt her foot a few days ago. She doesn't know how or when but started complaining a few days go about it. It is getting worse each day to were she was limping on it last night. Lovely... I got her an appointment with the doctor at 6:15. I swear it is always something or other with my kids. I think they should build us our own wing at the doctors office! I KNOW we have paid for it by now!
Do you think it could be that? What do they do for something like a fracture? I guess since we have had no breaks, sprains, or fractures before I am clueless what to expect on stuff like that.
Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
I imagine that if it is a fracture, she will be put in a boot depending on where it is, etc. You don't expect this sort of thing with a girl, huh?!?!? I fully expect to be dealing with this with Thomas. I even had a customer give me his card when he heard I had a little boy. He's an orthopedic surgeon
Just bruised, or so they think. They did x-rays on both feet / ankles and both look fine. Only thing off was that her growth plate on her hurt foot was a bit bigger then her other one. She has to use moist heat, finally that foot spa thing will be used , motrin, and no jumping / running.
@ the card Emma. Alexis is so accident prone it isn't even funny. The kid has had stitches on her face 4 friggen times. Not to mention 2 other trips to the ER from falls out of trees. Good thing the girls has good strong bones or we would be in trouble. Ethan has had stitches once... Not looking forward to what he is going to throw at me if boys are worse then girls.
I'm SO glad to hear it was just a bruise. Thank goodness!! Trust me, you don't want to have to deal with any type of fractures of any kind and stitches sound like a breeze compared to what we're going through.
So what's this about Ethan having stitches already? When did this happen and why don't we know about it???
