Over the last month I've been finding it harder and harder to find my underwear in the morning when I'm getting dressed. Mind you I am horribly slow to fold laundry and there is a huge pile of clean cloths on my bedroom floor I'm digging through. I noticed a few weeks back that my underwear/sock drawer was messed up a bit. Then a day or 2 later I caught Rhett (DB's 10-year-old who has been staying with us for the last 5 weeks) digging in my drawer. He said he was looking to put things away. Hmmm...yeah...right. This was around the time I was having trouble finding my underwear in the pile o-clean-laundry. So I was pulling stuff out of my drawer and opened up the pack of new ones I bought some time ago.

Well last night I folded and put away all the laundry - except the socks - and there was NO UNDERWEAR. I'm like WTH - where did it all go to? Especially since I had tossed the whites in the wash that night and there didn't seem to be much in there. So I go into Rhett's room and start looking in his bag he had all zipped up and look fuller than when he arrived. In the first pocket nothing. In the main section DB's book on miniature landscaping that I'm sure he didn't give to Rhett was in there. In the third pocket something I doubt that's his. In the fourth large side pocket all my underwear, and bras, and tank tops I use as camosols for nursing. I kind of figured this was happening.

So I go downstairs and whisper into Gary's ear to come up stairs with me - the kids are in the living room watching TV and playing. I bring him up stairs and show him what I've found. He has a weird look on his face and laughs. I told him it was time to go talk to his son. Some thing I've been trying to get him to do for weeks now. He talks to him for some time. Though I didn't listen in on it as I was trying to get the laundry folded and then I went through Rhett's bag again looking for dirty cloths to wash.

Rhett came upstairs and apologized to me. Gary asked him WHY he did it, but he didn't answer. Evidently I was suppose to ask why too, but I didn't. Though I can speculate.

But WHY did he take all my underwear????

Well at least I have my panties back. LOL And we'll need to check his bags out before he goes home this weekend too. Then I wonder what DB talked to him about.

OMG I laughed so hard when I got your Pm about this...I was laughing so hard my boss asked me what was funny, so I let her read it....she thought it was hilarious too because she has a son Rhett's age, and he did something similar.
