Summer Plans

Goodness and here I thought this summer might be less busy. Softball starts next week... T-ball in 2 weeks. To top it all off Lex is in 4 sport camps. 1 basketball and 1 volleyball with the school. $25.00 a piece for 3 hours that last 5 days, they also get a t-shirt for it too so not a bad deal at all. Then she is going to another volleyball and basketball ones in the city that are 5 days and last 4 hours and it is $40.00 a piece but she also gets a ball and t-shirt with each one. Again, not a bad deal I don't think. Every Tuesday the girls go to story time up at the library. They do crafts and read - earn prizes.

Just reading that made me tired.

We are really quite laid back in the summer. Brenna will continue dance, one night a week. Joshua will go to "Asthma Camp" for a week in July - and both have VBS. Other than that.... we don't have much on the agenda. =)

Oh, and since neither of my WEBELOS are going to resident camp, I'll have to have a few get togethers with the boys to start working on their activity badges. Having 3 extra months will be GREAT for them!!! =)

so far I've managed to keep all of Thomas' activities inside the school. We may do T-ball or soccer next year, but all that running around is exhausting and Dh has issues with taking the kids to something like that without me and I work a couple nights a week and some weekends. I had Thomas signed up for a sports/gym class that meets for an hour once a week at the school, but I got a flyer today for a karate class offered through the school once a week. I really think Thomas would benefit from karate, so i think we will switch him over to that for the summer and see how he does. Maybe it will help with his self esteem issues.
