This isn't a recall - but I'm going to be returning some items to Target this week that I had picked up for Liriel. WHY? Because when I pulled them out of the bag to night to take stock of what I had, I discovered the paint on the toy maraca had come off onto some mittens in the bag. It was also slightly sticky and the paint came off onto my hand. I noticed similar, but not as severe, problems with some of the other instruments I purchased. They were all from the dollar section of the store. Wooden Maracas and wooden Castanets. Distributed by Anthony Williams, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN. I did get these from a Twin Cities Target.

So if you've found any of these, beware.

I should probably call the company and complain, as there is a 800# on the packaging as well.
