lol...yeah, we live in a very country town so the school everyone has very common names and everyone's kids are named the same. When i went there a grade below me, my grade, and the grade above me had atleast 25 brandi's in it. I gave all my friend's that were named Brandi nicknames or i called them by their last name (or sometimes got hey you!).

I have yet to hear a Damien with him going there...or a Kirstin (which my sister claims she hears them all over the place there, but oh well).

We had issues with Thomas' name. My family hated it. It wasn't my favorite name, but I promised my Dh that I would name our son after his late father. How could I go back on that? My mom even told me that since I was the one filling out the info for the birth certificate, I could put what ever name I wanted Yeah, that wouldn't start any arguments! Lauryn's name just gets misspelled all the time (even by family)
Don't let them get to you. I love the name and my opinion matters J/K!!
