Things are going pretty good. I'm up another 5lbs, for a total of 16.5lbs (another first ). Bp was 116/60. Not sure of my FH, but she is so high I'm constantly short of breath! The ctx have continued, some days way worse than others. Doc decided to check things out down below.. I'm a fingertip dilated but cervix is still really thick and pretty firm. He did take a Ffn swab but decided we didn't need to send it off just yet, he thinks we are still in the "green" zone. I got the normal if anything changes or seems off call him right a away and to start taking it easy at home. He wants me back next week for the Rhogam shot and GTT. My cervical check u/s is also next week. So hopefully he's right and she's just continuing her streak of giving us a little drama with every appt - totally typical for one of our kids
Didn't you get a Rhogram shot when you had the Amniocenteis? You shouldn't be needing one right now if you did. They are good for 12-14 weeks. And since you pretty much come early most of the time you might actually be able to wait until the nameless one arrives. Mention that to your doctor the next time you see him. If they didn't give you the Rhogram when they did the amniocentesis - I would suggest shooting the doctor.
My uterus is screaming at me to MAKE MORE BABIES!!
I hate the RhoGam shot! I wish Joe was RH- too. I agree with Rebecca, hopefully you don't need one again so soon. I luck out in so far not needing one at birth (both girls are O-).
You better have a pep talk with Queen Baby (I figured I'd name her something myself for now ), tell her the uterus is the place to be for bare minimum of 1o more weeks and preferably more. Maybe if you call it Club Womb, she'll really want to stay ?
I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going Donna! It's not fair that your (allegedly) final pregnancy is flying by and you aren't enjoying it like you should!

I greatly distraught the midwife at the clinic because I refused the standard 28 week RhoGam shot even after learning DB was Rh+. After quite a bit of reading, it seems it only drops your chance of cross contamination by 1% and you still have a 1% chance of being sensitized no matter how many shots you have. But we are not planning any more children either, so I figured with only a 2% vs 1% chance of sensitization, I was comfortable with that. And I know most of the medical personal don't even bother telling their Rh- mothers there is still that 1% chance even if they do get the 28 week and within 72 hours of birth shots.
Though if you have major abdominal trauma while pregnant, your risk greatly increases. Had that happened, I would have gotten the shot while pregnant. I was comfortable with the 2% chance, not the 10%+ chance.
