I ended up deciding to do the amnio. Whatever the outcome may be I need to know definitely one way or the other what we are dealing with. So I called my Peri's office yesterday only to find out she is going out of the country for two weeks, leaving on Monday. The nurse ended up talking with her and she wanted us to come in that afternoon so she could do it. I was so nervous!! We opted for the FISH (preliminary) results and we should hear something by Wednesday. I was really crampy and sore yesterday but today I'm just a little sore. What a weird procedure, can't say I ever want to do that again! Gotta take it easy for a few days, then it's business as usual
