Why can't every pgcy be the same? I hate not knowing what is going on. I know I have done A LOT today so now that I am resting, things are getting heated up. I am having contractions and A LOT of back pain. With Cayten I never had contractions until they broke my water. I only knew I was in labor because dh called L&D telling them I was in so much pain in my back that I couldn't breathe, they said come in NOW. Now, here I am, sitting at this computer having a lot of back pain, some contractions that actually hurt but never really go away and come back. My uterus has been hard as a rock for like 10-15 minutes it seems like (although it could be much shorter period of time). My back pain is starting in my low low back and then moves up into my shoulder area and down into my legs. I REALLY would like for her to come today or tomorrow but her eviction notice is being recalled for Saturday so if this is it, it better get going so I can stop thinking, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. UGH. In all honesty, it probably isn't cause I want it to be so bad!

Sounds like this could be something sweetie! If it keeps up much longer despite water and rest I'd make a call to your doc and/or get checked out - better to be safe ya know. I hope it is ...... keep us updated!!!

Sounds like your body is considering evicting her. Keep track of the back pain, as it may well be back labor.

If you can, try sitting on the toilet - as weird as that sounds - it's a good labor position. Might help with the pain. Or soak in a hot tub of water. Or take a hot shower if tub is not an option.
