When I go into my dr, he always asks if I have any leaking. How do I know if I have leaking compared to my bladder being out of control? The last 3 nights I have had issues with leaking but just chalked it up to being a bladder problem. My friend told me today she had to be induced early because she didn't have amniotic fluid anymore and now I am paranoid. I have a dr. appt tomorrow but I don't want to be stupid and mention it and have it be urine.

Does it have a smell?

The other question is how active is the baby? If the baby is as active as ever, it's probably not amniotic fluid. Though as the quarters get tighter and tighter they can get as good of kicks in.

I would definately mention it. It will give you the peace of mind knowing all is ok.

I've had this off and on the past week when I wake up in the morning and I actually smelled it. It smelled like pee so I wasn't concerned. I think all the wiggling I do to get out of bed at night to hussle to the bathroom causes some leakage.
