BLAH!!! My BP was 117/70 so that is good. Baby's hb is good. Weight gain still at 222 lbs. I don't know what is up with my dr but he sure does have a hard time finding my cervix. UGH! I could really stand not being checked every week by him, it is so uncomfortable. I was at a 1 last week and he said about the same this week but almost to a 2. If it weren't so freezin here, I could go walking and I would probably go faster.
How do you tell if your baby is in the head down position? That is all! |

Because I said so, that's why!

You can check out http://www.spinningbabies.com/ to use the mapping technique to see what direction the baby is in. I've not tried it myself though.
You could just tell your doctor you don't want him to check your cervix. I didn't get mine checked until I was 39 weeks and boy am I glad of that - that was not very comfortable. But glad things are moving along. Could be here any day now - though probably not for a few more weeks. |

sounds like a good appt.
sorry that getting a cervix check is so awful for you...... i barely even notice when my dr. does those. (when sophia was born, he had a bunch of nursing students trying to find my cervix and check dilation because i'm not uncomfortable at all when they check.... i felt like a cow - when the farmers have the big glove on with their arm all the way in.. ) |

I didn't have a problem with it with Cayten, maybe it has something to do with my dr's hands? Also, I have a tipped uterus and I guess it makes it harder to find the cervix cause it is pretty impossible to find, in fact, when ttc and stuff, I have honestly never found it.

for a good appointment! I also have a tipped uterus since I had Tyler and my last checkup was miserable with the doc trying to find my cervix. I wasn't checked either pregnancy until 39 weeks so I think you could ask that they not do that unless there is reason to.....especially since it is so uncomfortable. |

I am glad the appt went well. I know what you mean about hurting. OUCH for some reason w/ Tierney my cervix would go ANterior and posterior making it hard sometimes to feel my cervix boy did that hurt. |
