We are all sick again :hairpull: Dean has a cough...it's not in his chest, it's in his throat (I have the same cough) he's got yellow/green coming out his nose. He's pulling on his ears, but he has a history of ear wax, so it could just be that. No temp at all. I can't really afford the gas/and copay to take him in. If it's just a virus, it's fine. How do i know if it's allergies?(enviormental) Dh is on an anti for a sinus infection, and i'm doing EVERYTHING in my power to stay off one. Mike has a phlemy cough too. I've tried benadryl and Zyrtek with both boys, and it didn't seem to help. What would you do? If I call, they are going to want to see him.....
Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
Is he sleeping ok, eating ok, in a good mood otherwise? If you pull at his ear does he fuss? I would look at all these things and decide if he needs to go in.

Also - how many days has it been and is he getting better or worse? Mine rarely has a temp with her EIs. And the yellow/green coming out of the nose would be a concern. But if he is eating OK and sleeping - those are the 2 big things. Make sure he is getting enough liquids to replace the extra he's losing. I would think he would be doing extra nursing right now. If he is worse in the morning, I would consider bringing him in. If he is the same or better, I might not.
"Mom, put Ty back in your belly ~ he keeps touching my toys"
I might make a call to see what they think. Remember taht Zyrtec takes at least a week to se a ful effect-and what dosage are you giving? Jake takes 1 tsp/day and has for the last year-he was off for a while but started back on it recently. I hope you all feel better soon-sounds liek you keep passing to each other!

He was up a lot of last night, but i don't know why. He didn't want to lay down...he wanted to sleep on my chest with me sitting up. He's not doing any extra nursing. I keep offering water and juice, but unless it's coming out of a boob, he dosen't want it. it's been going on a little over 7 days now.

Liriel is like that when she is really sick - even now - only wants to nurse. When was the last time you brought him in? Has it been in the last 7 days? If he is worse, then I would call. If he was but on antibiotics and they are about up and he's not better, I would call. How is he doing this morning?
