I love my boys!!
|
SInce Dean was born, I have been putting him to bed, and down for naps in my bed
He's always been fine. Last night I put him to sleep, in the middle of the bed like normal.DH and I were watching TV on the couch, and I heard him scream...the hurt scream...not unusual..sometimes he does that with gas. I went in there, and he was on the floor..... ![]() ![]() I have a rail that goes around my bed, and i could tell he hit that, and he was screaming. He wouldn't open his eyes, he wanted to go back to sleep. I made him wake up, checked his eyes for proper dialation, and put some ice on his head. I can't believe I let that happen....no more....he's ONLY allowed in my bed if i'm with him....I feel like such a bad mommy.... |

Don't beat yourself up over it, Jess. It happens.
Whenever Ian would nap in our bed, at that age, I'd lie down with him. However... it was inevitable that at some point, I'd have to pee. I had been lying with him for (seemingly) hours and he hadn't budged at ALL. Lo and behold, two seconds after I walk out of the room...he rolled over, and right off the bed. I was kicking myself for days. You'd think I'd be used to stuff like that by now! Give him lots of extra mommy cuddles today...and he'll be no worse for the wear. I'm glad he's ok! And, you will be too! |
