Default Do I take them back to the ped?

I called the ped yesterday, because there was blood coming from Mikes nose, and I felt like they needed something to dry them up. They told me to make an apt for today, and cancell if they seem better.

Mike got up this morning, and seemed fine. He actually threw a fit cause i wouldn't let him go to school (wasn't fever free for 24 hrs yet) He's been fine all day, minuns the blood coming from his nose. I asked the nurse if it could be from the neb, and she said yes. She told me to put some vasaline in it, and keep the humidifier on. I've been doing that, but still blood when he sneezes. On Sat, he complained that his hip hurt. I asked him to point, and he pointed to the left side, and said it hurt. After a while went by, he stopped complaining about it. We went to lowes today, and he was holding it again, and i asked him what was wrong, and he said his hip hurt. I asked him to show me, and he pointed to the space between his ribs and his hip on the left side. Then he pointed to the top rib. After he ate, he either forgot about it, or it felt better...i don't know...

Dean still has a cough, and his nose is constantly running green/yellow. If it's something that has to just run it's course fine, but the nurse really wanted me to bring him in, since he was still sounding bad. I declined, cause there was a slight improvemnet today than yesterday. His cough sounds like an 80 year old smoker...My first instinct was to let them be for another day....but now i'm starting to second guess myself...

WWYD?

I would probably bring them in. It's the hip bothering him that concerns me. What is making it hurt? You could wait it out another day if they are both getting better. And Dean is very young yet - so it's better to be safe than sorry with him. They can take a turn for the worse so quickly at that age.

But then, I tend to wait and watch more often than not.
