It's official, I'm a post whore!!

Okay... so I think it's about time for Brody to move out of his infant carrier (that thing is heavy as heck now!!) and into a "big boy" car seat
And I need to get one before my 'get one item at 15% off' coupon at BRU expires... So I have a few questions if you ladies don't mind I heard that Britax is the best to get... They are expensive! I was kind of thinking it would be nice to have two, because we are in my car during the day and DH's truck during the weekend and at night... So I guess my question is, is it really that hard to move carseats from car to car? Is it worth buying two? And if I buy two, I don't want to spend the Britax money! Are there any other good carseats that aren't so expensive? I read a lot of reviews about the Graco carseats and everyone says they tighten too much on one side and are waaay loose on the other... I'd appreciate and advice/help!! |

I boycott poopy diapers!

I'm no help... we have two Britax carseats - one in Bill's truck, one in my Expedition and we absolutely LOVE it.
I will say this though.... it's really nice not having to move a carseat around from vehicle to vehicle. Good luck!! |

I'm no help either....we have 3 Britax seats - a Decathlon in DH's car for him to take Adam to and from preschool 3 days a week, and a Decathlon for Josh & a Regent for Adam in my minivan for everyday use.

If you have to swap carseats about - the Britax is the way to go. At least with the Roundabout. It's EASY to install correctly. If you are using a seat belt, there are built in seatbelt stop things. But do try to fit it in both cars first if you can. Is BRU selling Britax? Around here they no longer are. Well, Toys R Us isn't.

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
|
We finally broke down and bought an extra Britax. After 2 other cheaper car seats, I finally gave in. Like you, I didn't want to spend the Britax money X2. Although, now I've spent that plus some
It's really easy to swap them from car to car with the seat belt. We have 2 Roundabouts. Have you looked on-line to see if there are any of last years models/colors available a little cheaper? Target sells them too and occassionally have them on sale. |

Yes... I'm an arcade addict!!

As much I'd love a Britax, we just dont' have the money for one. We got Carter's from the fire station for a $20 donation and they helped us install it. Addie recently moved into a big girl carseat (still backward facing) and I tried to get one from them again, but they didn't have the funding yet so they were out. I went to Walmart and bought the same carseat Carter had (the firehouse one) in pink for $43.

Some women bake buns......

We have been wanting to make the switch to Britax seats with all the kids for quite some time now and actually bought the first one yesterday (Marathon). I've only had the chance to use it a couple times so far but I love it! Sears has them on sale right now for $234.99 until the 19th. So we bought Rylie's first figuring we'd try it for a few days to make sure we liked it before buying Peyton's and Jayden's.
Speaking of which... has anyone had any experience with the Companion one?? Bobby wants to get it for the new baby but I haven't heard anything good or bad. |
