I have a decathalon (Britax) and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. it is so incredibly easy to install/uninstall.
I also have a graco comfortsport (which I absolutely hate) that Mikayla is currently using till I can get her a Britax. and we only have 1 *spare* in dh's car currently and that's an evenflo generations, which is ok. but he doesn't use them too much so I didn't want to get too expensive. I have 2 freinds that have the regent and they both really like them, though like Rebecca said they are much harder to install. As for the booster situation, Mason has already tried to escape from his decathalon, so for me a belt positioning booster is not an option for a very long time |

My uterus is screaming at me to MAKE MORE BABIES!!

I wish I had Britax money. I actually would prefer to buy Loralei a seat that harnesses her still, as that is proven safer.
Josalyn is in an Evenflo Triumph rearfacing (she will rearface till she hits the limits of the seat because it is safest) and it's a decent seat, but for long term, if I had the chance to go back 3 years ago (when I bought it) I would have bought one that is for higher weights harnessed. Back then I had job, so I could have bought a Britax (I just would have had to quit smoking sooner than I did). Maybe for Josalyns birthday I will put one on her list... you've got me thinking now... |

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??

A friend of mine said the Britax booster was really uncomfortable. We bought Thomas the Graco booster and it's been great.

It's official, I'm a post whore!!
|
I opened up the Target ad yesterday and the Britax Marathon is on sale for $229.. that's saving $40 bucks! But unfortunately, we still couldn't spend that kind of money so we ended up getting a Safety 1st that got pretty good reviews and was onsale for $119, saving $30 bucks from original price

Otherwise I would have waited a few more months to buy it.You can buy the what is touted as the safest carseat on the market, but if you can't afford to feed the kid it isn't going to do you much good. |
