Jess, My ped would prescibe a HUGE bottle so that I had the proper dosing but everytime the dose went up I didn't have to get another bottle, I could just up the dose based on Gage's weight.
Hope this will give the little guy a break.
and YOU!!

Prevacid is a tier 3 drug on
our prescription plan, which means it's a $45.00 copay. Without insurance it's a couple hundred dollars per RX.

Our insurance doesn't cover it, because it's the Solutab. We paid $87 for 15 tabs, which last 30 days (Noah gets a half tab per day)...

Ok, I finally heard from my ped at 5:20...here is our plan of action:
1. Up the dose of Zantac from .6cc's, to .8cc's every 12hrs. Monitor through the weekend, to see if that makes it better.
2. If Zantac alone won't work, start Prevacid or Prilosec 15mg am, and 15 mg pm, in addition to the Zantac(i think in addition too)
3. Possible also going to use Reglan in addition to the Zantac and the other meds.
4. No more baby in my bed. Bring swing into our bedroom, and let him sleep in there to see if that makes a difference.
He told me that if i let hi
