Belly sleeping
Tyler seems to sleep better and longer on his back, what is ya'lls opinion on the back to sleep/tummy sleeping thing? TIA

Due to SIDS, you're supposed to put them to sleep on their backs. So, if he sleeps better that way, I would do it that way.

My personal opinion is : my cousin died from SIDS and he was sleeping on his back. It is meerly a precaution. Cayten would ONLY sleep on his belly and he is fine. He still will only sleep on his tummy.

We put Tai on his back and sides to sleep when he was little because of the SIDS risk.

I would place him on his back. Once he get's older and able to roll himself back and forth I wouldn't be as concerned.

Addie is a belly sleeper by choice. I've always put her to sleep on her back, and she's been rolling over to her tummy since she was 3 months old.

I am such a sleep deprived idiot-I meant he sleeps better on his belly! I am seriously getting no more than 1-2 hours a night total for like the last 3 weeks so...forgive the mistake! Tonight I put him on his back, have been all along, but occasionally for naps and last night a few times I tried belly-well tonight he woke up safter 45 minutes trying to roll himself over-which he can do when he is awake but ayway after 3 back and forth, me putting him on his back and him waking up he is now onhis belly. It makes me nervous but I think I no longer have a choice. Thanks everyone for the input.
