Default How do I fix this?

Ok, I've posted ALOT today!!

Dean sleeps really good at night for about 2-4 hrs....last night he went down around 11, and slept till 3, and then was up from 3-5:30(i think, it's all a blur to me...) and i started trying to rock him at 5:30 (that was the first time i looked at the clock since 3) and then at 6:30, he was finally asleep in my bed, and then the alarm went off at 7. How do i get him back to sleep? Is he jsut not a good sleeper? Mike was sleeping thru the night at this point, so i don't know what the deal is.....any ideas or sugestions? I don't mind getting up every 3hrs, it's just 4 hrs, and then nothing kills me, especially when i have errands to do like today and tomorrow.

Have you tried just bringing him back to bed right away and nurse him there? Maybe he would drift back to sleep then? Sounds like you need to make sure you go to bed after you put him to bed.

Could be the reflux actually. Have you thought about asking your pedi about using mylanta or maalox? Maybe that wouldmake a difference. It could be that after he nurses he is having a hard time or is in pain. My pedi originally told me to give Tyler the mylanta whether or not he was screamingif he was up like that-as it could be a sign. I was reluctant at first but it made a difference and the he would sleep like 6 hours straight.
