The FlavorRX manual suggests compounding it because the flavor is so hard to mask. Tell them that he flat won't take it and see if the dr will call it in to the pharmacy to be compounded (he must be specific to avoid patent infringement, i.e. no alcohol, grape flavored ranitidine) or see if the pharmacist will call and ask the dr to change the rx. If that store doesn't do compounding, ask them if there is a store in the area that does. If there is a compounding pharmacist/pharmacy around, they will do what ever they can to get the rx changed for you.
